This newspaper clipping is probably the best thing I have ever found in my life. Coming from a small town, I was always bored and spent my time reading or learning more about the supernatural. There’s only so much a girl can do in a town surrounded by cornfields — and nothing fed my curiosity like this piece of history. In 1984, a town hall meeting was held to “deal” with the issue of what was believed to be a devil cult sacrificing animals in Edinburg, Ill. — my hometown.
